32nd Annual Australian Poultry Symposium to be held online

On Tuesday, February 9th, the University of Sydney in conjunction with the Poultry Research Foundation and the World’s Poultry Science Association (Australian branch) will start the 32nd Annual Australian Poultry Science Symposium. This event, scheduled in a hybrid format initially, had to be moved to online sessions due to travel restrictions and border closures in Australia. For two days, some international speakers from Canada, USA, New Zealand, and Australia will be discussing different topics focused on the layer hen welfare, breeder nutrition and management, antimicrobial stewardship, and gut health.

Invited speakers:

“This years over-arching theme will be Social License for Poultry Production. There will again be an interesting array of local and international invited speakers, and as always, we will be inviting researchers far and wide to submit and present a large range of scientific papers, loaded with industry-relevant content. “

More than 40 live sessions are included in the program. Different companies from the poultry industry such as Huvepharma, DSM Nutritional Products, Adisseo, Jefo, and several academic institutions will present research results, new trends in feed additives, feed formulation techniques, and food safety. An e-poster session will be available for attendants. People unable to attend the live sessions will have access to on-demand talks up to 60 days after the event. A PDF copy of the proceedings and agenda can also be obtained by e-mail prior to the symposium. Proceedings from past symposia can be accessed from the APSS website.

You are still on time to get your registration for the 2-day conference. Students can also apply for a discount.
