This axial extractor demonstrates the importance of using variable speed in ventilation and air extraction systems in the poultry houses, evidencing that, unlike on/off extractors, which are turned off in 50% of the units within of a shed to reduce energy consumption by half, the Katana Cone 57 manages to reduce its speed by half through its variable speed drive and its interface with the shed controller, thus guaranteeing savings in minimum energy consumption of 35% compared to on/off equipment.
Therefore, we demonstrate the importance of using our Katana Cone 57 as the predominant equipment in controlled environment houses, since it allows monitoring and controlling the speed of rotation and the air flow produced according to the thermal needs of the sheds in the different stages of production of chickens, managing to obtain a correct and ideal process of air renewal and temperature management, as well as a reduction in the energy consumption of the house of up to 82%.
