Ceva Animal Health is going to commemorate 100 years since Newcastle disease (ND) was first described on the island of Java – the beginning of a century-long scientific journey.
The Ceva team considers each of us a guard for this battle with ND, contributing to a shared mission that has passed through generations.
Entitled ‘100 Years with Newcastle Disease’, the special meeting will be staged on February 10-12, 2026, in Bogor, Indonesia.
Mustafa Seçkin Sandikli, Global Poultry Director and Christophe Cazaban, Poultry Scientific Director in their joint statement said the special meeting will bring together a select group of leading ND researchers and senior poultry health and laboratory experts from all over the world to exchange insights, experiences and future perspectives.
“Returning to Java, where the story began, we aim to create a meaningful space to reflect on the past, understand today and connect our efforts for the decades ahead,” they said.
aviNews Asia and aviNews Indonesia will be covering the special event. Reports will be available after the event.
