The 17th Poultry India Expo 2025 opened its doors in Hyderabad with a spirited and auspicious inauguration by Telangana Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao. The energetic atmosphere reflected the steady growth and rising ambition of India’s poultry sector.
This year’s edition welcomed more than 450 exhibitors from 50 countries, marking a significant expansion. Crowds filled the halls, showing enthusiastic participation from industry players across the region.
Visitors and exhibitors noted that the 2025 edition felt “significantly larger,” with returning companies alongside new participants eager to showcase innovations and strengthen their presence.
A clear momentum being set
The sense of momentum was clear. Walkways were packed, product demonstrations ran continuously, and lively conversations at booths reflected renewed optimism in the poultry market.
Many exhibitors reported higher visitor engagement on Day 1 compared to previous years, signaling accelerating demand and confidence in the poultry market.
Organizers reaffirmed their long-term commitment to making Poultry India the country’s largest poultry exhibition. Their focus on modern event organization, streamlined visitor flow, and improved exhibitor experience was visible throughout the venue, contributing to a seamless and vibrant opening day.

Uday Singh Bayas, President of the Indian Poultry Equipment Manufacturers Association (IPEMA), highlighted ambitions beyond expansion.
He stressed Poultry India’s goal of becoming South Asia’s leading poultry expo.
The event aims to set industry standards, drive innovation, and strengthen India’s role in shaping regional poultry development.
Big names and brands
Hall 4 quickly became a focal point, buzzing with product showcases by some of the biggest brands such as Tata, Buhler, Meyn, Moba Asia, and Skylark Group. Hands-on equipment demonstrations and technical discussions continued throughout the day.
Spanning more than 35,000 square meters, the expo has evolved into a central hub for technology exchange, trade partnerships, and knowledge sharing.
The presence of Shri Ponnam Prabhakar Goud, Telangana’s Minister for Transport and BC Welfare, reinforced government support for poultry growth, infrastructure enhancement, and long-term sector development.

Day 1 built on the momentum of Knowledge Day, held on the eve of the exhibition. This annual precursor gathered industry leaders, veterinarians, researchers, and producers to discuss the latest advancements and pressing challenges.
