Dr Edgar Oviedo from the Prestage Department of Poultry Science at North Carolina State University in the US, will be a moderator for the ‘Technology and Automation’ block at incubaFORUM ASIA 2026.
The forum will be staged at Trembesi Hotel in BSD Tangerang, Indonesia from April 28 to 30.
The ‘Technology and Automation’ block will have presentations by Dr Vincent Guyonnet of FFI Consulting, Dr Udi Ashash of Phibro Animal Health Corporation, and Loïc Gault & Richard Mackie of Potters Poultry.
Besides being a moderator, Dr Oviedo will also be a panelist for the ‘Breeders’ discussion panel with the topic: Health, nutrition and management approach for modern broilers.
About Dr Oviedo
Dr Oviedo is a Professor of Poultry Science, Nutrition, and Data Analytics at North Carolina State University, and a Colombian veterinarian.
He obtained his MS in Animal Nutrition and Production in Brazil at the State University of Maringa, his PhD in Poultry Science at the University of Arkansas, and an MBA from North Carolina State University in Data Analytics and Decision Making.
Dr Oviedo has experience as consultant in 38 countries.
He is the author of 130 peer-reviewed publications, 408 proceedings of meetings, 356 abstracts of presentations, 148 popular press articles, 14 book chapters, and four books.
