FAO-sponsored session on Food Security​ at the WPC

The World’s Poultry Congress (WPC) will take place pretty soon! It will be from August 7th to 11th at the Palais des Congrès Paris. So don’t miss the upcoming worldwide event for the poultry sector. Join the WPC in person or online!

This is a 5-day program face-to-face in Paris, plus a selection of live streaming sessions, plus all sessions available as a replay.

During this event, FAO has a sponsored session on Food Security. Robyn Alders will deliver this conference. She will analyze the contribution of poultry production to the Sustainable Development Goals:

The Poultry Industry, together with governments, international organizations, and civil society, are wrestling with complex challenges to ensure that poultry contributes effectively and sustainably to food and nutrition security.

Meet the speaker

Robyn Alders is a Senior Consultant Fellow with the Chatham House Centre on Global Health Security, Chair of the Kyeema Foundation, an Honorary Professor with the Development Policy Centre within the Australian National University, an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Infectious Disease and Global Health, School of Veterinary Medicine, Tufts University and Chair of the Upper Lachlan Branch of the NSW Farmers’ Association.
