PSA & WPC 2026: So Much Poultry Science Coming to Toronto

Utrecht-Netherlands – aviNews International had the opportunity to speak with Cara Tharp, the Director of International Conferences & Events at the Poultry Science Association (PSA), during the recent VIV Europe. Cara was promoting the PSA Annual Meeting and the World Poultry Congress, which will take place from July 10 to 17, 2026, in Toronto, Canada.

The 2026 PSA Annual Meeting will be held from July 10–13, 2026, at the Metro Toronto Convention Center in Canada, bringing together scientists, students, and industry leaders from around the world to share the latest advances in poultry genetics, nutrition, physiology, and health management. The event will feature technical sessions, poster presentations, symposia, and workshops designed to foster collaboration between academia and industry, while also offering young researchers the chance to present their work, making it one of the most important global gatherings for innovation and knowledge exchange in poultry science.

The World Poultry Congress (WPC) 2026 will be held immediately following the PSA Annual Meeting, from July 14–18, 2026, and will gather thousands of poultry professionals, researchers, and industry leaders from across the globe. Organized by the World’s Poultry Science Association, this congress is recognized as the most important international event in poultry science, covering topics such as genetics, nutrition, health, welfare, and sustainability. With plenary sessions, technical symposia, and exhibitions showcasing the latest innovations. WPC 2026 will serve as a unique platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and shaping the future of poultry production worldwide.
