Philippine fast food giant Jollibee Foods Corp (JFC) capped 2025 with its strongest fourth-quarter operating income in history, underscoring resilient demand and expanding global operations.
Operating income surged to USD 70.4 million in Q4, up 41.9% year-on-year, while full-year operating income grew 19.3% to USD 342.6 million. Revenues rose 9.8% in the quarter to USD 1.37 billion and 13.0% for the year to USD 5.19 billion.
Global expansion reaches new heights
System-wide sales climbed 16.6% in 2025 to USD 7.74 billion, supported by strong performances in both domestic and international businesses. The coffee and tea segment surged 44.9%, fueling overall growth.
International markets delivered double-digit gains, led by Vietnam, which posted 40.4% system-wide sales growth and 23.9% same-store sales growth. JFC opened 1126 stores during the year, the highest in its history.
- Philippine system-wide sales rose 9.6%, driven by Jollibee (+10.4%), Chowking (+6.1%), and Mang Inasal (+15.6%).
- International sales expanded 27.0%, led by Compose Coffee (+217.0%), Highlands Coffee (+15.7%), and Jollibee US (+17.3%).
- Same store sales growth reached 4.8% overall, with 5.2% in the Philippines and 4.2% internationally.
Strategic investments drive future growth
In February 2026, JFC announced the acquisition of All Day Fresh Co Ltd through its subsidiary Jolli-K Co Ltd. The deal strengthens JFC’s Chinese cuisine portfolio and expands into the fast-growing hot pot dining segment. All Day Fresh operates ‘Shabu All Day,’ a popular hot pot chain with 169 stores in Korea.
Looking ahead, JFC projects 2026 system-wide sales growth of 8%–12%, same-store sales growth of 4%–6%, and store network expansion of 5%–10%. The company plans to open 1200 to 1300 new stores globally, supported by capital expenditures of USD 221-272 million.
Chickenjoy elevates brand recognition
Jollibee’s iconic Chickenjoy continued to reinforce brand equity and global appeal. In the US, Chickenjoy was featured in Eat This, Not That’s list of ‘Restaurant Chains with the Best Fried Chicken Buckets.’
The company also earned multiple accolades, including recognition as the #1 brand in Asean 500 rankings and fifth-strongest restaurant brand worldwide in Brand Finance’s Restaurants 25 2026 report. These achievements highlight JFC’s rising competitiveness and unique position as the only Southeast Asian brand in the global top 25.
