Fast Food Indonesia, the operator of fried chicken QSR chain KFC in Indonesia, closed 25 outlets across the country during 2025.
According to the company’s financial report, Fast Food operated 690 KFC outlets as of December 31, 2025, down from 715 outlets a year earlier.
The reduction in store numbers was accompanied by a decline in staffing levels. Fast Food said it employed 11,664 workers at the end of 2025, compared with 13,106 employees in 2024, representing a reduction of 1,442 jobs.
In addition, the company reported:
- A net loss of around USD 21.3 million for 2025, an improvement of 54% from the USD 46.4 million loss recorded in the previous year.
- Revenue edged higher to around USD 284.7 million in 2025, compared with around USD 283.7 million in 2024.
- The company’s total assets stood at around USD 285.4 million in 2025, up from around USD 203.8 million a year earlier.
- Total liabilities were recorded at around USD 262.1 million, while equity amounted to around USD 25.3 million.
