Meet the speaker of incubaFORUM ASIA 2026: Dr Tugrul Durali, Director of Avian Management Services.

Dr Durali grew up on his grandfather’s layer and broiler farm near Gallipoli, Turkey. After earning his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from the University of Istanbul and the Turkish Army Veterinary College, he served as a Veterinarian Lieutenant in the Horse & Dog Regiments. Following his military service, he returned to his passion for poultry and specialized in breeder health and management.

Over the past decade, his professional focus has been in Australia, New Zealand, and the wider Asia Pacific region, where he managed extensive meat and layer breeder operations from GGP through to commercial levels, including oversight of three hatcheries and an accredited Avian Quarantine Facility in New Zealand.

In 2018, he established his consultancy business, providing technical, management, and innovation-focused services to poultry enterprises across Asia, Oceania, and China. His recent work emphasizes advanced technologies such as RFID tracking, automated waste-management systems, robotics, machine learning, and AI supported smart weighing system and real-time data management systems. In 2024, he was honored with the prestigious Brisbane Lord Mayor Multicultural Entrepreneur Business Award.

At incubaFORUM ASIA 2026, Dr Durali will deliver a presentation titled “From bytes to birds: Where data shapes the flock” on Thursday, April 30.
