Moba’s Global Marketing Director, Johan Kennis told aviNews Asia at the VIV Asia that their main focus is ensuring business continuity and profitability for our customers. “Egg processing normally is a thin-margin business, so we aim to provide solutions that reduce manual labor, improve food safety, and increase profitability.”
One of the key innovations showcased was the Vision Shell Inspector. “This is a game-changer as this vision based solution can detect the smallest cracks with reference setting accuracy. Resulting in more sellable eggs and less waste”, he said.
Advanced heating technology for pasteurization
Another highlight was Moba’s advanced heating technology for pasteurization, Ohmic designed to improve efficiency and product quality. “Traditional heating systems have a relative short production time between cleaning intervals. . Our new system heats from the inside, eliminating downtime and allowing longer continuous (up to 12-hours) production runs, while improve product quality” Mr Kennis explained.
“This means better product properties, longer shelf life, and on top of that less handling and cleaning costs for companies like QL, which is why they chose Moba.”
During the show, Moba also held a ceremony congratulating Malaysia’s QL Resources Berhad management on their new processing plant in Vietnam where they also will have the new Ohmic.
