



Tributes and awards ceremony took place at the beginning of April.
Cobb-Vantress, the oldest poultry genetics house in operation in the world, highlighted the performance of Bolivian poultry companies for the results achieved in the Best Lots awards, held annually by the company. The companies Avicola Sofia, Prodasa and Warnes were awarded awards, respectively, in the Total Eggs and Best Hatching categories, which registered a tie between the last two companies.

In the Total Eggs category, Avicola Sofia obtained the mark of 192.57 eggs, with batch 428. The company’s team, represented by Samir Khamis, Jimmy Joaquin and Roberto Paz, received the award.
Prodasa, one of the champions in the Best Hatch category, recorded 87.37%, with lot 106. Directors Winsor Quiroz, Luis Fernando Rojas, Wilber Sumoya and Leoncio Pichigua received the award on behalf of the company.
Warnes, also awarded in the Best Hatch category, with the same rate of 87.37%, with lot 137, was represented at the award ceremony by Alejandra Oropeza, Nestor Oropeza Talamas, Nestor Oropeza, Willy Severiche and Marcelo Villa.

The award events welcomed businesspeople from the poultry sector in Bolivia, between April 2nd and 5th. All winners received trophies presented by Cobb’s regional manager for Peru, Bolivia and Ecuador, Rodolfo Solano. “We have a long-standing partnership with the award-winning companies and we are very pleased to highlight companies that pay attention to production guidelines and that always record very positive performance with the Cobb product”, says Solano.
