In response to the growing global demand for halal food—particularly processed chicken products—and organic food, Thailand’s Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) of the Ministry of Commerce is intensifying its efforts to support Thai entrepreneurs in these high-potential sectors.
As part of this initiative, the DITP is organizing Halal Showcase and Organic Showcase at Thaifex-Anuga Asia 2025, Asia’s international food and beverage trade show, taking place on May 27-31, 2025, at Impact Muang Thong Thani.
The Halal Showcase highlights a curated selection of high-quality halal-certified food products, approved by both domestic and international certification bodies. The showcase features a wide variety of products including processed chicken, duck, and seafood, as well as snacks, beverages, and natural cooking ingredients—demonstrating strict adherence to Islamic dietary laws, while also emphasizing quality and taste.
The Organic Showcase, meanwhile, presents food products made from certified organic ingredients, offering assurance of quality and safety. The showcased items span a wide range of categories, including premium food ingredients, beverages, and ready-to-eat products—all meeting international organic standards from trusted certifying bodies.
The Halal and Organic Showcases form part of DITP’s strategic plan to boost international trade opportunities and strengthen the global competitiveness of Thai businesses. By leveraging world-class trade exhibitions like Thaifex, the DITP aims to drive economic growth and enhance the credibility of Thai products in the eyes of global importers and buyers.
