Dr Farhan Farooq, Secretary General of WPSA Pakistan, will join incubaFORUM ASIA 2026 that will take place in Indonesia on April 28-30, as a panelist.
He will join the panel discussion entitled “Challenges, opportunities and outlook of the poultry industries in Asia” together with other Asian poultry industry leaders.
About Dr Farooq
Dr Farooq is a highly accomplished and distinguished professional in the veterinary and poultry science sectors of Pakistan. With an exceptional academic background, he holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, complemented by an MBA (Gold Medalist), an MPhil, and a PhD, showcasing his unique blend of scientific expertise and business acumen.
Currently, Dr Farooq serves as Director of KK Chicks and plays a key role as CEO KK Pharma. His leadership extends to significant positions within national and international industry bodies.
Dr Farooq is Secretary General of the World’s Poultry Science Association (WPSA) – Pakistan Branch, a testament to his standing in the global poultry community. He also holds the position of Chairman of the Poultry Committee at the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (RCCI).
His commitment to the industry is further demonstrated through his active memberships in premier associations, including the World’s Veterinary Poultry Association (WVPA) Pakistan, the Pakistan Poultry Association (PPA), and as a Life Member of the World’s Poultry Science Association.
Dr Farooq is based at the National Business Centre in Rawalpindi, where he drives innovation and growth for his ventures, KK Chicks and KK Poultry. He is a respected leader dedicated to advancing the poultry industry through science, commerce, and education.
