Reflecting its commitment to excellence and innovation, Sri Lanka’s poultry feed producer New Anthoney’s Feeds earned two Gold Awards at the National Convention on Quality and Productivity (NCQP) 2025, hosted by the Sri Lanka Association for the Advancement of Quality & Productivity (SLAAQP).
The awards, in the Cross-Functional Teams and Quality Improvement Projects categories, recognize the company’s success in lean operations, waste reduction, and process excellence.
These wins reflect the company’s bold approach to transform its production and quality assurance processes.
NCQP 2025, themed ‘Beyond Boundaries: Quality, Productivity, and Innovation for Market Competitiveness’, brought together over 400 teams from more than 70 companies across the country.
The convention served as a platform for showcasing best practices in process optimization, innovation, and productivity enhancements.
Raising standards
“At New Anthoney’s, we don’t just raise chickens, we raise standards,” said CEO Neil Suraweera.
“These wins reflect our deep-rooted commitment to innovation, science-led best practices, and the power of cross-disciplinary teamwork in building a healthier and more sustainable food system for Sri Lanka and beyond.”
The double Gold Awards also pave the way for New Anthoney’s Feeds to represent Sri Lanka on the international stage at the International Convention on Quality Control Circles (ICQCC) 2025 in Taiwan—further cementing its role as a leader in advancing Sri Lanka’s agri-food sector through high-impact quality initiatives and scientific rigor.
It begins with the feed
Backed by a robust foundation of certifications—such as FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, and HACCP—New Anthoney’s is redefining poultry nutrition and feed safety standards in Sri Lanka.
Its focus on antibiotic-free, hormone-free, and ethically produced chicken begins with the feed, carefully developed by a multidisciplinary team of food scientists, nutritionists, and quality engineers working with precision and care.
Sustainably sourced soy
Further elevating its commitment to responsible nutrition, New Anthoney’s Feeds integrates sustainably sourced US soy into its feed formulations. This strategic decision is backed by rigorous traceability, verified sustainable farming practices, and superior nutrient profiles.
The company is the first in South Asia to choose US soy in its poultry feed. This move enhances feed quality while supporting global sustainability goals for climate-smart agriculture, soil health, and water use efficiency.
Right from the very first grain
As New Anthoney’s Feeds prepares to showcase its award-winning innovations on the global stage, it reinforces an unwavering commitment to pioneering a safer, cleaner, and smarter future for poultry and protein production—starting from the very first grain.
The company holds internationally recognized certifications, including ISO 9001:2015 for quality management systems and ISO 22000:2018 for food safety. These reflect its dedication to excellence, traceability, and transparency across the supply chain.
These certifications showcase the company’s holistic approach to sustainable feed production and its role in elevating industry benchmarks, both locally and globally.
