NutriForum 2025 is the ideal space to share the advances in the animal nutrition and feed industry.
This year the poultry nutrition room will be different: with speakers of great level and trajectory, lectures will focus on the most relevant innovations of the last months.
The poultry hall, which runs parallel to the pig and ruminant hall on 09 April, will be opened by Samia Messaoud, Poultry Nutrition Specialist at Techna, who will share with us ‘Nutritional strategies for turkeys: optimising energy and protein intake to maximise growth, yields and feed efficiency’. Messaoud stands out for providing practical solutions to poultry industry players, whether in meat or egg production.
We will continue at 12:30h with Ayman Tolba, Regional Technical Director at Danisco Animal Nutrition and Health, and his ‘Functional integration: enzymes and probiotics in combination’. Dr. Tolba stands out as a technical manager with extensive proven experience in the veterinary sector.
After a Face-to-Face that will focus on farm and carcass quality, the day’s lectures will be followed by PhD Edgar Oviedo, who will present ‘Mathematical modelling in poultry nutrition: Current status, benefits and limitations’. Oviedo, who will also open the congress in the plenary hall at 09:45h on 09 April, is a Professor and Extension Specialist in Nutrition, Health, Data Analytics in the Prestage Department of Poultry Science at North Carolina State University.
We ended the round of keynotes (but not the day, this will be followed by a panel discussion and Social Forum!) with Ray Chiu, Co-Founder & CEO of Calyx, with ‘AI-powered nutrition: real-time information to optimise performance and CI in poultry’. Chiu made Forbes magazine’s famous ‘30 under 30’ list in 2019, thanks to his role in the energy sector.
