SCIENTIFIC PROGRAM XVI EUROPEAN POULTRY CONFERENCE
The Asociación Española de Ciencia Avícola, (Spanish branch of WPSA) would like to invite you to the 16th European Poultry Congress (EPC) in Valencia. The EPC will probably be the biggest event in poultry science in 2024.
The Asociación Española de Ciencia Avícola, (Spanish branch of WPSA) would like to invite you to the 16th European Poultry Congress (EPC) in Valencia. The EPC will probably be the biggest event in poultry science in 2024.
The scientific committee of the EPC is preparing a high-level scientific program with the best keynote speakers focusing the major concerns of the European society and the poultry sector, but also a program for the exchange of scientific experiences between researchers. The multidisciplinary approach of the conference is the best way to discuss the latest scientific findings and work on a practical application.
The EPC will also have a space for the commercial exhibition, as well as satellite conferences for the scientific diffusion of the most active companies in the European poultry sector.

TECHNICAL VISIT & WORKSHOPS, at CECAV
8:30h: Bus pick up and transfer to CECAV (Les Alqueries, Castelló). The meeting point will be provided prior to pick up.
10:00h-11:30h: Presentation of CECAV and visit to the facilities.
Workshops: 11:30-13:30h.
Workshop 1: Basic concepts of phage therapy.
Workshop 2: Rapid diagnosis on the farm. IBD and Avian Influenza.
Workshop 3: Necropsies and sampling in birds, basic technique.
Workshop 4: Mycotoxin analysis.
13:30-15:30h: Lunch time
15:30h: Return to Valencia (arrival planned at 16:45)
