The Duck Egg Farmers’ Association of Thailand has announced an increase in the official farm-gate price of duck eggs, raising it by USD 0.0061 per egg to USD o.14.
The new pricing came into effect on May 5, 2025. The association noted that it will continue to monitor market conditions and inform producers and retailers of any further adjustments.
This price revision comes after a reduction of USD 0.0061 per egg in February 2025, signaling ongoing adjustments in response to production costs and market dynamics.
In related news, the Livestock Economics Research Group under Thailand’s Department of Livestock Development released recommended prices for other poultry products as of April 28, 2025:
Market analysts expect broiler chicken prices to remain stable in the near term.
Furthermore, the Layer Chicken Farmers’ Cooperative Network has revised the suggested farmgate price for mixed-grade chicken eggs, increasing it from USD 0.10 to USD 0.11 per egg, effective April 28, 2025. This change also reflects efforts to align prices with supply and feed cost trends.
Despite these adjustments, prices across the poultry sector in Thailand are expected to remain relatively stable.
