Available in other languages:The French branch of WPSA is pleased to invite you to the 26th World's Poultry Congress (WPC) in Paris. After WPC2016 in Beijing, they are now preparing to welcome you all in Paris for WPC2022.
The WPC will take place from August 7th to 11th at the Palais Des Congrès in Paris. The 2022 version will be in-person and online.
One of the main focuses of the WPC2022 is to bring a major contribution to the poultry industry challenges for the benefit of the world population.
The WPC scientific program includes several objected-oriented and 28 specialized sessions integrating different approaches to the challenges that the industry is facing (To download the preliminary program, visit here )
Moreover, the congress will comprise 11 plenary sessions that "will address major issues of the poultry sector as a whole" on August 8th and 11th all day and morning, respectively:
- Opportunities offered by genomic selection to breed for diverse production systems
- How far can we go with enhancing the environmental sustainability of poultry systems?
- Mitigating the environmental impacts of poultry production
- Global challenges for the economy of the poultry sector
