WPSA Pakistan holds preparatory meeting for Poultry Incubation & Fertility Conference 2026

The conference will bring together leading poultry scientists, hatchery specialists, veterinarians, industry professionals, researchers, and students from across Pakistan.

The World’s Poultry Science Association (WPSA) Pakistan Branch held a preparatory planning meeting at the Head Office of Punjab Chicks, Rawalpindi, under the leadership of Haseeb Akram, Managing Director of Mashriq Feeds and Punjab Chicks, to finalize arrangements for the upcoming Poultry Incubation & Fertility Conference 2026, which will be held in Lahore, Pakistan.

The conference will bring together leading poultry scientists, hatchery specialists, veterinarians, industry professionals, researchers, and students from across Pakistan to discuss the latest advancements in poultry incubation, fertility management, hatchery technologies, breeder flock management, and emerging innovations in poultry production.

The Organizing Committee announced the following leadership appointments:

  • Patron-in-Chief: Mian Sohaib Javaid, CEO of Jadeed Group and President of WPSA Pakistan
  • Patrons: Haseeb Akram, Managing Director of Mashriq Feeds & Punjab Chicks, and Waqar Alam, President of WPSA Pakistan South Zone (Karachi)
  • Chief Organizer: Dr Farhan Farooq, Managing Director of KK Chicks and CEO of Pharmonix Pharmaceutical
  • Conference Chairman: Dr Jibran Hussain, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), Lahore
  • Conference Secretary and Focal Person: Dr Nasir Mukhtar, PMAS Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi
  • WPSA Office Coordinator: M Zee Waqar

To encourage the participation of young professionals, the conference will sponsor the attendance of 5-6 outstanding poultry science students selected from universities across Pakistan, providing them with an opportunity to interact with leading national and international experts.

During the meeting, the committee reviewed the scientific program, keynote speakers, sponsorship opportunities, student participation, promotional activities, and logistical arrangements to ensure the successful organization of this flagship technical event.

The Poultry Incubation & Fertility Conference 2026 aims to provide a premier platform for collaboration between academia and industry by promoting scientific knowledge, innovation, research partnerships, and the adoption of modern incubation and breeder management practices to strengthen Pakistan’s poultry sector.
