MIDDLEBURY, Indiana, USA — Ziggity Systems has hired poultry industry veteran Robert Bowen as Account Manager and Broiler Breeder Specialist for North America.
Bowen brings more than 27 years of experience in the poultry industry, including hands-on experience before entering into equipment sales, and comes with an extensive background in Hatchery and broiler breeder production. Having worked in Live Production for Tyson Foods, Pilgrims, and Koch Foods, his experience offers a depth of knowledge that adds value to Ziggity customers.
Ziggity Systems Director of U.S. Sales, Steve Awde, says, “Bowen has first-hand experience with how our Watering Concepts and Products improve bird, litter, and system performance results.” Awde, who has been with Ziggity for nearly 28 years, says that adding Bowen brings value to its Distributor relationships and end-user customers.
For distributors in North Carolina, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, and Southern Indiana, Robert Bowen will be their primary Ziggity contact immediately.
As the Broiler Breeder Specialist, Bowen will work with the entire North American distributor network, in conjunction with the team of Ziggity Account Managers, to advance, support and promote its dedicated male and female drinker line concepts featuring gender-specific Big Z and Big Z Shielded Drinkers.
Bowen is a native of Meridian, Mississippi and attended Meridian Community College. Bowen has two children. His daughter, her husband and their three children reside in Mississippi. Bowen’s son, a U.S. Marine, is married and resides in New York state.
