(MIDDLEBURY, INDIANA, USA) On January 1, 2024, Ziggity Systems, Inc. announced the appointment of a new ownership team led by Robert Hostetler, President. Former majority owner and President, Dale Hostetler, departed from the company and ownership after a long and successful 46-year career. Rob Steiner, Vice President Sales, praised Hostetler’s tenure, saying, “Dale is not one for accolades or special attention, but we are all thankful for his leadership, direction, and culture that he, along with Robert Hostetler, helped to create over the years.”
Robert Hostetler is no stranger to Ziggity, having served in a senior management role as well as held an ownership position since 1994. With an eye to the future, Hostetler announced key internal promotions of Kelvin Wittmer to Vice President Operations and Steiner to Vice President Sales, both who were already part of the ownership team since 2020. Wittmer joined the company in 2016 and Steiner in 2010, both have increased their ownership positions and now hold expanded roles and responsibilities.
Ziggity believes the change in ownership brings a forward movement in the company's growth and positions them for continued long-term success. “We are looking forward to carrying on the company’s legacy of designing and producing advanced poultry watering systems to make a positive impact on the industry worldwide,” says Hostetler.
Two other long-term employees were also named to key positions: Steve Awde, Director of Sales USA & Canada, and Jean Roberson, Controller, both serving roles at Ziggity since 1995.
