Singapore-based animal nutrition company Ecolex Animal Nutrition has announced its exclusive distribution agreement with CJ Bio, the bio-business unit of South Korea’s CJ CheilJedang.
This strategic alliance marks the beginning of a collaboration focused on introducing CJ Bio’s Coxield and GutLuk feed additive solutions across the poultry sectors of India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Bhutan.
Coxield and GutLuk are renowned for their efficacy in supporting gut health and disease management, which resonates with Ecolex’s commitment to animal welfare and environmentally responsible nutrition.
Accelerating progress and innovation
The partnership will leverage Ecolex’s deep market presence in South Asia and CJ Bio’s R&D strengths, ensuring the region’s poultry producers have access to advanced feed additive solutions that drive both productivity and sustainability.
The partnership underscores both companies’ commitment to accelerating progress and innovation in animal health throughout the South Asia region.
Edward Manchester, Global Commercial Director at Ecolex, said the collaboration represents an exciting new chapter for Ecolex as they expand their ‘Health and Environment’ platform.
“By integrating the proven and natural Coxield and GutLuk solutions into our portfolio, we strengthen our ability to offer best-in-class, science-backed feed additives designed to support poultry health, performance, and sustainable farming practices,” he stated.
“These products are a strategic fit within our existing innovative technologies and position us to deliver even greater value to our customers across South Asia as they navigate evolving industry standards and consumer expectations.”
Eileen Han, Global Business Director of CJ Bio, said they see tremendous potential in joining forces with Ecolex to deliver their latest feed additives to South Asia’s rapidly expanding poultry markets.
“Ecolex’s reputation for innovation and customer-centric solutions makes them the ideal partner to drive strong regional adoption of Coxield and GutLuk. We look forward to a successful collaboration that enables poultry producers to improve animal health standards and business outcomes,” Dr Han added.
