EW Group GmbH has announced the entry into exclusive negotiations for the acquisition of Olmix Group from Amadéite and Motion Equity Partners.
Olmix Group, headquartered in Brehan, Brittany, France, is a global company specialized in developing, producing and distributing high-value biosourced solutions for livestock and crop farming.
Thanks to its ranges of finished products and ingredients, Olmix Group is a privileged partner of farmers, distributors and agri-supply manufacturers on an international scale to enable smart and sustainable agriculture.
“We are delighted that Olmix Group has entered into exclusive negotiations with EW Group, which shares the same values. This project would ensure a positive long-term future for the Olmix Group team and lay the foundation for an excellent outlook for future business development,” said Herve Balusson, founder of Olmix Group and owner of Amadéite.
Patrick Eisenchteter of Motion Equity Partners said: “It has been a pleasure working closely together with Olmix management to grow the company internationally. It has been a successful partnership, and we are very happy to see that EW Group would continue to support that journey.”
“We are extremely excited about the prospect of welcoming Olmix employees to EW Group. Over the years the company has developed unique and innovative solutions and has become a leader,” Jan Wesjohann, Managing Director at EW Group, stated.
“We intend to accelerate and support the positive growth path of Olmix Group as a standalone company in the group next to EW Nutrition.”
As part of the contemplated partnership, EW Group and Olmix Group would be committed, based on the EW Group principles, to invest in new technologies, R&D and expansion of its international structures.
The terms of the contemplated transaction have not been disclosed.
