UN names eggs as a star ingredient for World Food Day

To celebrate World Food Day on Saturday 16th October, the United Nations (UN) has named eggs as one of its two star ingredients, highlighting the amazing power of the egg to bring people together, nourish us, and ‘fuel our futures’.

The campaign is led by the ‘When is an egg not just an egg?’ video, created by the UN with support from the egg industry, which reinforces that ‘it’s not just an egg, it’s so much more’.

To help you support this campaign, share the video, and spread the word about the importance of eggs in our food systems.

Did you know that eggs can change the world? They can…
