Madrid, February 27, 2020 – On February 20, a new International Technical Poultry Farming Conference was organized in Madrid organized by Trouw Nutrition, a company specialized in sustainable animal nutrition and nutrition. One more year Zoetis sponsored the celebration of the day as a reflection of its commitment to the poultry sector and its training. More than 150 professionals from the sector producing eggs and laying hens from Spain and Portugal attended this thirteenth edition. The new challenges of the sector, such as sustainability and animal welfare, in addition to other aspects and factors that are increasingly taking weight in the production systems were addressed during the day. After a review of the international egg market, several experts addressed the “food of the future”. Thus, it was treated from new norms of formulation of rearing of chicks to nutritional applications for the quality of the shell. The second block of the day focused on the new challenges in the management of layers, in which topics such as the cutting of peaks or the production of outdoor exit systems were discussed. Through its collaboration on the day, Zoetis intends to offer professionals specialized in poultry farming an update of knowledge and sharing of experiences, with the ultimate goal of improving the sector.
