Thailand’s agrifood company Betagro has partnered with Siriraj Vittayavijai (SIVITT) to launch ‘INSPIRED care’, a specialized health food brand. The new line targets health‑conscious consumers and those managing non‑communicable diseases (NCDs) such as diabetes, hypertension, and high cholesterol.
‘INSPIRED care’ builds on the success of INSPIRED, Thailand’s first health food brand with recipes developed by SIVITT doctors and nutritionists. The initiative reflects Betagro’s vision to advance medical‑standard healthy food that combines strong nutrition with enjoyable taste.
The brand introduces 12 dishes, including Salmon Fried Rice, Teriyaki Salmon Brown Rice, and Grilled Chicken Breast with Thai dipping sauce. Prices start at USD 2.72 per meal.
Each serving is nutritionally controlled, with no more than 20g of fat, 10g of sugar, and 700mg of sodium. These standards allow consumers managing NCDs to enjoy balanced meals without compromising flavor.
Community commitment and sustainability
A recent study with SIVITT shows rising demand for medically sound food among working and middle‑aged groups. Growing health awareness is encouraging consumers to choose meals that support long‑term wellness.
This year, Betagro also donated INSPIRED care meal boxes to Ronald McDonald House at Siriraj Hospital. The initiative provided nutritious food for child patients’ families, improving quality of life for caregivers and patients alike.
“As consumers prioritize healthier, great-tasting, and nutritionally balanced food, our ‘INSPIRED care’ product directly addresses this need,” said Somsak Boonlarp, President – Thailand Food Business at Betagro.
“It reinforces Betagro’s commitment to elevate the quality of life for Thai consumers with accessible, high-standard nutritious food, fully aligned with our sustainability strategy and SDG commitments.”
‘INSPIRED care’ is available at Siriraj Hospital.
