One of the most notable trends worldwide is the rise of big data. Companies that effectively grab the potential of data are gaining a significant competitive advantage. Exactly for that reason Petersime developed the innovative Eagle Trax™ hatchery software in 2021.
Our groundbreaking software enables data-driven optimization of hatchery operations. Initially launched with a single module, Eagle Trax™ has now expanded to seven modules, continually evolving to equip hatcheries with cutting-edge tools for efficient operations and maximum performance.
Big data to gain competitive advantage
Big data is transforming industries, giving companies that leverage it a significant advantage in innovation and efficiency. Recognizing the tremendous potential of big data for the poultry industry, Petersime launched its Eagle Trax™ cloud-based software for hatcheries in 2021. This data-driven solution enables hatcheries to digitize, analyse and optimally use the wealth of valuable data they have available. Eagle Trax™ incorporates powerful functionalities organized into multiple modules, ensuring the whole hatchery operation can work more efficiently and effectively.
Powerful software modules to perform specific tasks
As a cloud-based Software as a Service, Eagle Trax™ continuously evolves with new functionalities and modules added over time. With the latest release, we are now expanding the software to seven available modules, including the new HVAC and Egg storage module:
Rudy Verhelst, Business Development Manager at Petersime, explains: “The modules we offer today significantly help hatcheries streamline their operations, enhance their efficiency and maximize their performance through the intelligent use of data. But it does not stop here.
We will continue to focus on maximizing results and driving business value by adding new functionalities to our existing modules and developing new modules, so our customers can confidently meet not only today’s but also tomorrow’s challenges in the poultry industry.”
He adds: “The modular set-up of Eagle Trax™ also offers customers flexible options, allowing them to choose the modules they need. This approach helps them implement digitalization in an optimized manner while keeping the door open for improvements and additions in the future.”
Bridging the gap: connecting older-generation incubators to Eagle Trax™
As part of Petersime’s mission to digitalize hatcheries, we are committed to enhancing the intelligence of all our incubators. This initiative was already evident in our new range of conventional incubators launched at the end of 2023, which introduced the Vision+ controller, directly linking the Conventional Series to the advanced Eagle Trax™ software.
We are now taking a significant step forward with the introduction of the new Focus+ controller (available as of summer 2025). This innovative controller will enable our older-generation incubators from the AirStreamer™ family to connect seamlessly with the Eagle Trax™ software. It will bring numerous benefits, offering hatcheries equipped with AirStreamer™ incubators a unique opportunity to confidently embrace the future.
Business-changing software
By now, it will be evident that Eagle Trax™ brings many advantages, from improving overall operations to minimizing human error as hatchery staff can rely on digitized, automated working procedures. What is more, the software can be accessed anytime and anywhere, regardless of device type (pc, tablet or smartphone) or user location (office, home or field). Self-evidently, Petersime also provides the necessary services to help customers get started with Eagle Trax™.
