


Hanoi, Vietnam moving quickly to digitize food management. The city’s official food safety and traceability platform will go live no later than April 15, 2026.
This initiative, signed by Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Vu Dai Thang, aims to strengthen food quality oversight and protect consumer rights across the capital.
The Department of Science and Technology has been tasked with completing the system. Businesses and households will be able to update data, while citizens gain access to monitor and track supplies.
By April 10, 2026, all food producers and traders must publicly disclose product origins. This ensures comprehensive inspection data and allows consumers to identify safe products through a dedicated website and electronic traceability tools.
