Huihai Agriculture International Indonesia is building a new feedmill at the Pasuruan Industrial Estate Rembang (PIER) in Pasuruan in East Java. The groundbreaking ceremony took place on November 21.
As the Indonesian arm of China’s Huihai Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Technology Group, Huihai Agriculture International Indonesia is investing USD 39 million in the project. The facility will sit on an area of 40,000 sqm and will employ up to 500 workers. Completion and operations are targeted for Q4 2026.
Management emphasized that the new feedmill is part of a broader strategy to expand production capacity and support the development of Indonesia’s livestock industry. Guided by the principle of ‘In Indonesia, For Indonesia’, the company aims to provide high-quality animal feed to the domestic market.

Strengthening partnerships with SIER
Earlier this year, on June 23, a delegation from Surabaya Industrial Estate Rungkut (SIER), which manages PIER, visited and inspected Huihai Group’s headquarters in Guangzhou.
During the visit, both parties signed a land cooperation framework agreement. The inspection marked a significant step toward strengthening collaboration between the Indonesian and Chinese partners.
Lin Haichun, Chairman of Huihai Group, presented the Group’s development journey, R&D and production capabilities, and its strategic vision of ‘In Indonesia, For Indonesia’.
He also unveiled a five-year plan to build three more modern, intelligent feedmills in Indonesia, alongside projects in breeding, animal health, and food processing. These initiatives aim to build a complete industrial chain in the country.

Huihai Group’s global expansion
Founded in 2004, Huihai Group is a state-level high-tech enterprise and a national leader in agricultural industrialization. Its philosophy, “Creating Value for Users, Creating Happiness for Employees,” has guided its growth and innovation
The Group operates six major business segments: poultry, aquatic products, swine, ruminants, pet feed, and animal health. It currently runs 10 modern feedmills across key regions including South China, Central China, and East China, with a combined annual capacity of over 2 million tons.
All facilities feature advanced automated and intelligent production lines, many certified under ISO 9000 and HACCP standards. The Group also employs the German SAP management system to ensure transparent and standardized operations.
To promote sustainable and efficient farming, Huihai Group advocates the ‘Four Goods Healthy Farming Model’—Good Breeds, Good Nutrition, Good Environment, and Good Biosecurity—providing integrated solutions that improve productivity and reduce risk for farmers across China.
In recent years, the Group has accelerated its globalization strategy. Its wholly owned feedmill in Indonesia represents the first step abroad, combining local and Chinese expertise to serve Southeast Asia’s farming community.
