The purpose of the vaccination is to reduce the impact of avian flu in poultry operations.
The vaccination will start based on a strategic plan designed by the General Direction of Animal Health (DGSA Spanish abbreviation) from Senasica. While the vaccination happens, different poultry associations are working closely to keep the supply of chicken and eggs in the country market. So far, the supply of these products has not been affected.
Representatives from Senasica and the poultry industry pointed out that the outbreak does not represent a risk to public health since international human health
