Thailand’s PTT Oil and Retail Business (OR) has advanced its Mobility Hub strategy by partnering with food business operator OKJ Group, the company behind the Ohkajhu brand, to launch Joe Wings, a new fast-casual fried chicken concept.
The brand’s first exclusive outlet has opened at PTT Station Vibhavadi 62, offering a convenient, fast, and healthier food option tailored to motorists on major road networks.
The launch also supports OR’s plan to scale flagship restaurant models across its service station network in the future.
Kraiphit Premmanee, Executive Vice President for Lifestyle Business at OR, said the strategic collaboration between OR and OKJ aims to elevate the food and beverage offering within PTT stations. The initiative is driven by consumer insight showing that speed and convenience are top priorities, and aligns with the growth of OR’s All Lifestyles business segment—one of the company’s key pillars in developing service spaces that comprehensively meet everyday needs in a single location.
He noted that the success of Ohkajhu over more than five years within OR’s network clearly demonstrates the strong synergy between the two organizations.
This collaboration has now been extended with the launch of Joe Wings, positioned as a healthier choice with a streamlined, easy-to-eat menu.
The outlet serves both takeaway and dine-in customers, catering to travelers seeking quick, high-quality meals that meet OKJ’s food safety and hygiene standards.
The concept is fully integrated into OR’s Mobility Hub ecosystem, which seamlessly combines energy, food, and lifestyle services.
Designed to meet the needs of customers
Joe Wings at PTT Station Vibhavadi 62 is designed to meet the needs of customers who prioritize speed and convenience.
The compact space features a modern design highlighted by red tones and stainless-steel materials, reflecting the brand’s energetic and bold identity.
An open counter layout and self-order kiosks enhance service efficiency, supporting both takeaway orders and short dine-in visits.
The menu
The menu emphasizes premium fried chicken under the concept ‘Better Oil, Better Chicken, Better Way’, with a no-shortcut cooking process to ensure freshly prepared, hot, and consistently high-quality products.
Offerings include popular chicken cuts such as Crunch Wing, Tender, and Boneless, as well as lighter options like the Lite Tender Cheesy Wrap and rice-based meals for customers on the go.
The menu is complemented by seven signature flavors: Classic, Garlic Parmesan, Lemon Pepper, Hot Too Hot, Midnight, Thai Spice Up, and American Nashville.
Expanding lifestyle services
The launch of Joe Wings within PTT stations is in line with OR’s strategy to expand lifestyle services and enhance the overall customer experience along major travel routes.
OR and OKJ plan to continue expanding the Joe Wings footprint, with the next outlet at PTT Station Phatthanakan (outbound) scheduled to open in January 2026.
The partners aim to add an average of 5-10 outlets per year, targeting a total of 30 branches nationwide by 2030.
